McNab Concentration Analyzers

McNab Concentration Analyzers are well suited for measuring concentration of suspended solids (large & small) and chemical analysis using forward-scatter, near-infrared, and ultraviolet methods, as well as determining particle size.

 

Suspended solids concentration

Model HSA is well suited for measuring medium- to high- concentration fluids (0.001 to 70% solids concentration), these analyzers offer an enhanced range of suspended solids measurement and improved resolution (1 part in 2,000). Particle size distribution ranges from 0.1 to 100 microns.

Large & small suspended solids

Model DSB employs both forward- and side-scatter measuring techniques to allow for dual angle and/or dual measurement configurations. Can also have separate alarm set-points. Ideal for determination of particle size and measurement of clarity.

Forward-scatter concentration

Model RS employs the forward-scatter ratio technique to measure medium-to-large particles in medium-concentration ranges with variable hue or intensity backgrounds. Unique, easy-to-handle removable optical cells allow for easy window cleaning and seal examination.

Near-Infrared to Ultraviolet Analyzers

Model KSA for continuous, real-time and unattended monitoring of chemical concentration in the process environment.

Concentration alarm

Model J-1 is an industrial turbidity-difference alarm that signals when relative particle concentration goes below or above desired levels. Capable of measuring fluids in pipes from 1" to 10 " diameters, it is designed for straight forward applications not requiring technicians.

Concentration; 4-20mA transmitter

Model AP-VIE is a compact transmitter that provides across-the-pipe light absorption measurement. Well suited for applications where readout is either unnecessary or is to be displayed elsewhere. Calibration and verification is easily accomplished by use of available optical filter kits.

Concentration; high-range

Model AP-VI Back Scatter Monitor employs the back-scatter technique of measurement, using its one optical cell to both transmit light and monitor its reflection off suspended particles or color. It is particularly useful when measuring sludge levels or fluids in tanks, reactors or very large pipes.

Chemical analysis

Model KSB is a selective frequency photometer measuring chemical concentration by readings near-infrared spectrums where the effect is proportional to concentration (water/glycol, H2SO4/organic solutions, etc.)
