McNab Introduces Kieselguhr Dosage SystemMount Vernon, NY - McNab, Incorporated has introduced an automatic Kieselguhr Dosage System for controlling body feed to diatomaceous earth filters. The new Model DSC replaces manual dosage and/or delta-P feedback control Systems, and is said to match Kieselguhr dosage with the beer solids content, thus reducing material and disposal costs for breweries. The Model DSC optically measures suspended solids content in the process line using a dual-angle beam analyzer; one measuring scattered light at 90º for protein and the other at 130º for yeast. Two signals can be provided for improved control. For more information, contact McNab. A90-89 |
